Difference iperf and iperf3
iperf (iperf2) is the original tool where iperf3 comes from.
The difference is that iperf3 is a complete re-write with a smaller and simpler code base and comes with more features, including a library version of iperf3 to be able to use it from another source code as well.
iperf (iperf2) and iperf3 are not compactible, so don’t mix them up for testing, it will not work.
